Director of Culinary, Food & Beverage, Damien Callaghan

Joining the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Spring of 2009, Damien Callaghan holds a dual role as Executive Chef and leader of our Food & Beverage discipline in the hotel including the Show Case Restaurant & Bar. Damien shares with us a wealth of experience in restaurant and culinary operations. Before Damien’s move to Vancouver, he held positions as Director of Food & Beverage and prior to that Executive Chef at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire; Executive Sous Chef at The Westin Calgary; Sous Chef at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Senior Sous Chef at the Hilton Bristol in UK.

With over 20 years of culinary and hospitality experience in a number of Relais & Chateau Country Houses in Europe and International Hotel Chains, Damien’s focus continues to be creating memorable meal by using fresh local ingredients with perfect guest service delivery.

Other than his interest in Culinary Arts, Damien has a love for motorcycles, rugby, motorsports and enjoys spending time with his family.
